What's New?
VEIN will soon be retired to make way for a new online resource called VIP, the Veterinary Information Portal. VIP has recently been released to BVSc and BAnVetBioSc students, and promises to be a great source of information throughout their degrees.
The information in VIP is organised into units of study to make it easier for students to find relevant material. Academic staff have created learning topics within their unit pages, to align with the topics they are teaching. Within these learning topics you will find a range of content, including journal articles, essays and links to websites.
VIP will run in parallel to VEIN for an introductory period. All the links and subject pages that you would find in VEIN are now in VIP, as well as a growing collection of material added by academics. There are also many links to library resources. You will find VIP at http://vip.vetsci.usyd.edu.au; if you are not already authorised we will do that for you and you can start exploring VIP.
Where is...?
A subject listing of databases is now available from the Library web site.
LIDA and OLIVER have been removed from the side navigation as part of the VEIN decomissioning.
All subject links have now been moved to VIP.
VEIN email services are no longer offered. If you are currently affliated with the University of Sydney, please use Ask a Librarian. For all inquiries relating to the new VIP portal contact VIP.
