Animal health courses

Post Graduate Foundation in Veterinary Science: courses
The Post Graduate Foundation in Veterinary Science provides a number of short professional courses, seminars and workshops for veterinarians, veterinary nurses and other animal health professionals. Year-long distance education courses are also offered by the Foundation. A variety of topics relevant to animal health professionals are covered. See their courses page for up-to-date information on future topics.

Murdoch University: Continuing Veterinary Education
The Office of Continuing Veterinary Education, Murdoch University, designs and coordinates courses for animal health professionals. Their programmes are offered in metropolitan Perth, country venues, and Adelaide. Topics covered differ annually. See their seminars and workshops page for future courses.

VetLearn: New Zealand Veterinary Association Foundation for Continuing Education Inc
VetLearn is based at Massey University NZ and is a "provider of professional conference organisation, continuing professional development and scientific publishing (print and electronic) services to the New Zealand veterinary profession and related animal health industries". Its events section provides details of upcoming courses and conferences.


Post graduate study in veterinary science

University of Sydney Faculty of Veterinary Science: Postgraduate study
The University of Sydney Faculty of Veterinary Science offers a number of postgraduate courses, including research programmes and course work programmes. Course work programmes offered by the Faculty include: Wildlife Health and Population Management; Veterinary Public Health Management; Veterinary Clinical Studies, and more.

University of Sydney - Veterinary Public Health Management
"Veterinary Public Health Management is a postgraduate distance program, delivered online with short residential sessions, directed towards career enhancement for animal health professionals. Integrating scientific skill and leadership competence, the program has been created to address the increasing need for veterinarians and animal scientists with developed skills to benefit the health of the whole community".

Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Melbourne: Post graduate courses offered
The University of Melbourne offers a number of post graduate courses, including Dr of Veterinary Science and Master of Veterinary Studies.

Natural Resources, Agriculture and Veterinary Science, University of Queensland: post graduate study
The University of Queensland offers a number of postgraduate programmes to veterinary and animal science professionals. Programmes are split into animal studies (postgrad) and veterinary studies (postgrad).

School of Veterinary & Biomedical Sciences, Murdoch University
Murdoch University offers a Master of Veterinary Studies, small animal medicine and surgery. Information about the courses can be found on the course outline page.

Institute of Veterinary, Animal & Biomedical Sciences, Massy University: Post graduate study
Massey University offers postgraduate qualifications in animal science, veterinary science and medical laboratory science. A selection of current research projects available to students can be viewed. The file is in .pdf format.
