Ferrets as Laboratory Animals: A Bibliography
Compiled by Karen J. Clingerman, National Agricultural Library Animal Welfare Information Center, James G. Fox and Marian Walke, from the Division of Comparative Medicine the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, this bibliography lists selected literature citations on the ferret and its use in biomedical research. Topics include: ferret physiology, care and handling, and use in biomedical research. The document is intended to be a reference tool for individuals involved in the care or use of ferrets in the laboratory setting.

World Small Animal Veterinary Association (WSAVA) Congress Proceedings
The World Small Animal Veterinary Association's membership is made up of veterinary organisations from all over the world concerned with small companion animals such as cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Pathology of the Domestic Ferret
This site is authored by Bruce H. Williams, DVM. The site contains information about diseases afflicting ferrets, as well as two articles on ferret pathology and interpreting ferret clinical pathology data. Each disease covered by the site includes case histories, brief discussion, colour images, where appropriate, and a brief bibliography.

The Ferret Clinic

Hyperadrenocorticism in ferrets
Electronic book authored by Dr Nico Johannes Schoemaker of Utrecht University, The Netherlands. The full text of the book is published by Utrecht University in pdf format and includes colour images.
